If a 30 day late payment is removed, will my score rise up?
Current credit score 580 – 590 (All Three Bureaus)
I disputed it, and they sent a letter saying it was removed but it’ll take 30 days
Yes, I got a couple issues.
Collection account but it’s paid
I need to keep credits cards accounts under 30%…

wiil rise but may take 90-120 days.
Beware Capital One, they are evil!!
But then again, they all are.
well it depends… some will say yes and some no… they need a lot of time but paying on time and no induced court issues you should start seeing it rise faster…
never paid a debt in my life. only public sector debt because they seem to have a big gang.
Might or might not make a very slight difference. The credit score is computed using a lot of different factors so one 30-day late is not likely to make much of a difference if any.
I believe it will, if it affected your score to begin with. I’ve been told by Capital One, though, that they don’t report tardiness to the agencies until your 90 days or more late, so you might be okay, anyway!
Yes but only a point or two at most. If your score is that low (Anything below 620 is considered sub prime lending by most companies) you got a lot more issues on your credit report then a single thirty day late.
If you need a c-card…go anywhere else.
Capital One is the Wally-World of c-cards.
They are also known to be … slow … in processing anything that is to the customer’s benefit (except payments – they WANT your money!), like submitting statements they are legally required to do to the various credit agencies.
If you need to, use the magic word…lawsuit…they HATE that word.
